Create a private nook, here is one of my favorite bedroom decorating tips I like to share, and that is to create a quite place for yourself in your bedroom where you can sit and read quietly. Make a private reading or lounging space by using comfortable chairs and foot stool and placing them at the end of the bed. buy luxurious linens, as interior decorating rule states, the use of beautiful fabrics will help outfit your bedroom. Linens tend to add comfort to the bedroom. Purchase sheets that are made out of 100% cotton with a thread count of around 350 or even more.
People with flair for the unusual should consider pink for the bedroom. Different shades of pink can be used for coloring walls for your bedroom. Instead of using regular shades of light or dark pink, your pink bedroom decor can flaunt pink with hints of orange and even brown! People around the globe are now experimenting with unusual shades of pink and other color combination is like brown or white to get that ethereal shade for the bedroom. The main function is to enhance the coziness and warmth that a bedroom is synonymous with.
If you do not fancy having a big carpet in the room, try a few throw rugs that can enhance the room decoration with ease. They not only protect some parts of the floor but depending on the type you buy, they can also prevent slips and falls, particularly if your flooring is parquet, which can be quite slippery in itself. Of course throw rugs can be also placed on top of the existing carpets to protect them from dust and dirt. A rug can be much easier cleaned than a huge carpet and the cleaning costs are also much less. For extra decoration, you can also use oriental rugs, which are rather expensive but really give the elegant touch to any bedroom, and also to any other room in the house.
Maintain a simple bedroom, no matter what style of decoration you select, your bedroom must look sophisticated, elegant, cozy and simple. Leave at least a gap of three feet between the side walls or big furniture and the bed, thereby ensuring ease of movement. Apart from this leave a minimum of two feet gap between the low level furniture is tables and the bed. Try furnishing your bedroom only with what you require. Anything additional tends to give a bad look. However you can place pieces of artwork like candles, family photos etc.
