Many people who purchase a "transition" set for their child end up purchasing a better set of bedroom furniture when their child gets older. Or, parents may hand down the set to a younger sibling and then purchase a newer, more "grown up" set for the older child. Regardless, at some point you will probably look to purchase one of the more expensive bedroom packages that are available. These sets are made of quality materials and should last your child for many, many years. In fact, your child may still be using one of the bed sets in their first apartment after college.
What then is the purpose of buying key and/or accent pieces if you intend to transfer to another house in another location. Bringing with you sets is quiet tedious and expensive that it would be better to buy a new one in the new location instead of hiring trucks and/or transporting it yourself. You better ask yourself as to your plans and where will you be in the next 10 years. If you see yourself still living on the same house, go ahead, buy the bedroom sets.
