A blue bedroom feels far more gender-neutral (though it could be simply because of the way society has programmed us for years) and blue as a color is better at calming nerves and inducing sleep than pink. Pastel blues easily combine with lighter shades of gray and off-white giving you greater freedom when it comes to choosing the color scheme of the bedroom. If you are really in the mood to try out something unique, then a monochromatic bedroom filled with pastel blues or different shades of mint green is a fun project to try out. Of course, adding simpler pastel accents to your existing bedroom is a far easier affair. But it simply lacks the flamboyance of bedrooms draped in pastels.
It is a scientifically proven fact that you need sleep in order to be as productive as possible. More than that, you need sleep that is deep, relaxing and restorative. Without that kind of sleep you will lack concentration, become irritable, and overall be unable to function the way that you should in your everyday life. In order to get the best quality of sleep possible, you need to sleep in a room that promotes a calm and relaxing atmosphere. One way to do this is with the appropriate Feng Shui Bedroom colors.
A hint of yellow, while finding a balance between yellow and blue in the kids’ bedroom is not too hard, most homeowners seem to be far more comfortable with blue as the dominant hue in the room. This could very well be because of the popularity of blue in boys’ bedrooms or just the fact that brighter shades of yellow create a setting that is far too ‘vibrant and loud’ for a relaxing bedroom. Irrespective of the reason behind the choice, those wanting to drape the bedroom of their child in light and pastel hues of blue can still add a striking splash of yellow with accents and decor.
modern bedroom colors are an important aspect when deciding to redo your bedroom. It is the staple that will hold the room together and will be the background for your other bedroom pieces. It is important to remember that bedrooms are not meant to be places of serenity and calmness. It is your haven to rest and all stressors should be left outside of its door. Choose a calming color, which will allow you to relax, for the walls. Some people like to have accent colors and if this is what is most suitable to you and your personality, go for it.
