Layout. First thing when starting with interior designing your bedroom is to prepare a layout for it. You need to consider where will the bed be placed, where the wardrobes will be, where will you keep the dresser, which is the best place for a TV etc. The layout, in return, will depend on the size and shape of the room, the location of doors and windows, any structural elements etc.
Where to Start. The truth is, the jumping off point for creating a bedroom design can be anything. Some people prefer to start at the top and work their way to the bottom; while others work from the ground up. These are two easy methods, but they can quickly stop you dead in your tracks. Instead, find a particular item or object that youre really drawn to. One that speaks volumes about what youre looking to achieve in the space. It could be a duvet, a nightstand, a throw rug, wallpapering, wall art or even a bedside table lamp. Then, draw your inspiration from this. You can easily come up with entire nature-inspired bedroom designs using a single piece. Draw the color palette from your inspiration piece and go from there. Youll be surprised at how easy it is to create a nature inspired bedroom design once youre working from inspiration.
