Not all little girls adore Barbies, the color pink and frilly dresses. Perhaps your little girl has very definite ideas about what she likes and does not like, what pleases her and what annoys her, how things should and should not be done. As a parent you love her individuality and strive to help her express her ideas, preferences and thoughts in her own unique way. A little girl is room should be an expression of her personality as much as a cozy place for her to play, dream, love and laugh. So how do you decorate a unique little girl is room? With unique children is décor and accessories of course! Here are three unique ideas for decorating your unique little girl is room.
Maintain a simple bedroom, no matter what style of decoration you select, your bedroom must look sophisticated, elegant, cozy and simple. Leave at least a gap of three feet between the side walls or big furniture and the bed, thereby ensuring ease of movement. Apart from this leave a minimum of two feet gap between the low level furniture is tables and the bed. Try furnishing your bedroom only with what you require. Anything additional tends to give a bad look. However you can place pieces of artwork like candles, family photos etc.
Every family has a different bedroom decor in their sleeping quarters. You will not find two homes with identical bedspreads or beds or even curtains on the window. There are people who can actually afford to have their bedrooms decorated based on the season. Of course not everybody has the funds to change the decor of their room four times a year. However it is still possible to do a great job of decorating your space in an inviting way.
Accent your bedding with rustic accents. A creative and inexpensive option for accenting your bedding would be to purchase red bandana fabric at your local craft store and use it to create custom throw pillows. You can also use old denim or western style shirt fabric or pockets to add personality to your pillows.
